What you get without registering

Your session persists in your browser, so coming back tomorrow doesn't mean starting over. What you don't get is portability: an anonymous session lives on one device, and clearing your browser data ends it.
What linking an email actually adds
Three things, all optional. You can choose your own handle instead of keeping the generated one. You get a public profile page at ome.gg/@yourhandle. And your account survives clearing your browser or moving to a new device.
